Conventional showers encompass an array of hazardous ligature points. BestCare ® shower solutions include conical shower heads; ADA-compliant, ligature-resistant tri-lever handles; seamless panel covers; and ligature-resistant shower drains. Shown below is Model No. WH538-0001 , our ligature-resistant, built-in shower with a semipermanent, collapsible handheld shower. The shower components are installed on the shower wall and feature ligature-resistant conical shapes. The showerhead is mounted at standard shower height.

The BestCare ® ligature-resistant floor drain features an internal gusset in the grate assembly to help minimize ligature attachment points. The round-top grate head is designed for clamping vinyl flooring or other waterproof material at the finished floor level. BestCare ® linear Drains are ideal for applications where ADA accessibility is a must. Simple design and durable construction create a clog-resistant alternative to traditional shower drains and help maintain a clean and healthy behavioral healthcare environment. Shown below is the WHLD Series ligature-resistant linear drain with flashing flange. Its V-shaped trough design with centered, 2-inch no-hub outlet allows for a single slope to drain, in turn allowing the use of larger tiles and greater design flexibility.
