BestCare® Ligature-Resistant No-Caulk Shower Drain

Whitehall BestCare® Ligature-Resistant Stainless Steel Strainer Grate and No-Caulk Brass Drain Body are designed for use with preformed Shower Stall Bases. The Drain Body (provided Oatey 42150) is sealed to the Shower Base with a Fiber and Rubber Washer. A 2” Schedule 40 DWV Pipe by others is secured with a mechanically compressed Gasket that does not require caulking.

The Strainer Grate is polished to a satin finish and is designed with Self-Clinching Vandal Resistant Screws and eccentric threaded Washers that fit into the Drain Body Snap Groove and secures the Strainer Grate to the Drain Body by compression. The Strainer Grate Extension helps reduce the risk of using the Strainer Grate as a Ligature point. The Strainer Grate is fabricated of 16 gage type 304 Stainless Steel.
