Option: Infectious Control Flush (for PCU)

When toilets are flushed, turbulence is created in the bowl. Water mist with millions of particles of bacteria is created and migrates out of the toilet bowl into the surrounding area. To prevent this issue, Whitehall offers an Infection Control Flush option on Patient Care Units with concealed toilets (ie. Swivette and Swingette). This option provides an assembly that does not allow the hydraulic flush valve to operate when the toilet or cover is in the “open/exposed” position. The toilet can only be flushed when the toilet is concealed. With this option, an Exposed Toilet Paper Holder is provided.
